At Coop we have adopted an emergent curriculum which as parents we feel fits our philosophy on children and how they learn. We want our teachers and assistants to be engaged and excited in what children are naturally interested in and to build on these interests through a variety of materials, methods, and planning. Our teachers use "Webbing" lesson plans to demonstrate student initiated topics and the subsequent topics and lessons that have emerged over the week. Listed below are links for further info on emergent curriculum.
